This was always included in my mother-in-laws Christmas menu. Our favorite jello salad. We always make this the night before and refrigerate overnight.

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg
    strawberry jello 3-oz
  • 1 c
    hot water
  • 2 box
    frozen strawberries 10-oz
  • 1 can(s)
    crushed pineapple #2 can
  • 1 c
    pecans chopped
  • 3 medium
    bananas peeled and sliced
  • 1 pt
    sour cream

How to Make Strawberry Jello Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Dissolve jello in hot water in large plastic bowl.
  2. Add all ingredients except sour cream.
  3. Chill until stiff but not jelled.
  4. Spread one half jello mixture in oblong glass pan. Spoon sour cream over top and add rest of jello mixture.
  5. Return to refrigerator to congeal.
