turkey salad/chicken salad
This is an easy recipe and a great way to repurpose the leftover holiday bird. Serve it as a sandwich on your favorite bread, a stuffed tomato or avocado, a salad on a bed of lettuce or as an appetizer on crackers or in a lettuce wrap. We even eat it right out of the bowl on chips. Good stuff!

Ingredients
- 4 cups cooked turkey or chicken, chopped medium-small (about 1/2" inch)
- 1 cup miracle whip
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped sweet pickles
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 2 or 3 large hard boiled eggs, chopped (optional)
How To Make turkey salad/chicken salad

Step 1In mixing bowl, stir together turkey or chicken and Miracle Whip.

Step 2Mix in celery and pickles.

Step 3Add eggs, if using, and mix in lightly.

Step 4Taste and add salt and extra Miracle Whip if needed.

Step 5Cover and refrigerate leftovers.
