This salad takes its name from a Russian general who fought in the Napoleonic Wars. It's a good salad for a summer weekend luncheon. Found at alleasyrecipes.com I estimated the time it would take to prep all the ingredients = prep time. Cook time = chill time.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup tomato sauce
  • to taste - salt and pepper
  • 3 cups diced cold, cooked chicken
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 6 - cold, cooked artichoke hearts, sliced
  • 1/2 cup diced cooked ham
  • 1 cup cold, cooked elbow macaroni
  • 2 - hard-cooked eggs, shelled and chopped
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

How To Make bagration salad

  • Step 1
    Combine mayonnaise, tomato sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • Step 2
    Refrigerate 1 hour to blend flavors.
  • Step 3
    When ready to serve, combine chicken, celery, artichoke hearts, ham, and macaroni in a bowl.
  • Step 4
    Add mayonnaise mixture and spoon onto a serving dish, shaping into a mound.
  • Step 5
    Decorate with chopped eggs and parsley.
