This has been my "go to" salad for pot luck dinners or BBQ's. It is everyone's favorite. You must use Best Food's Mayo and Lawry's Seasoned Salt. If you change it, it will not be as good. I always make a huge bucket of this and it is never enough!

Ingredients For the best potato salad

  • 5 lb
    russet potatoes
  • 3 md
    yellow onions
  • 8-12 md
    hard boiled eggs
  • 1/2 jar
    best foods mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp
    lawry's seasoned salt

How To Make the best potato salad

    Boil the un-peeled potatoes in a large kettle filled with salted water, until fork tender. Allow to cool and then peel and rough chop into large chunks. Place in a large bowl.

    Crack and peel the eggs and chop. Add to the potatoes.
  • 3
    Dice the onions and add to the potatoes and eggs.
  • 4
    Add mayonnaise and seasoned salt to the bowl and mix all well. Check seasoning after mixing, start with less seasoning and mayo and add more to taste.
