This recipe has been shared from Massachusetts to California. Everyone loves it! The secret is to use only Hellman's mayonnaise and make it while the potatoes are still hot.

  • 4-5 lb
    red potatoes, unpeeled
  • 2 c
    hellman's mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp
    red wine vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tsp
  • dash(es)
    black pepper
  • 4 tsp
    grey poupon country-style mustard
  • 4 stick
    celery, chopped
  • 1 large
    onion, chopped

How to Make Red Potato Salad


  1. Boil potatoes for about 45 minutes. Don't worry if they fall apart a bit.
  2. While potatoes are cooking, prepare dressing: mix together mayonnaise, vinegar, salt, pepper, mustard.
  3. Drain potatoes. Cut them into pieces. Add chopped celery and onion.
  4. Pour dressing over vegetables. Refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight.
