This recipe has been shared from Massachusetts to California. Everyone loves it! The secret is to use only Hellman's mayonnaise and make it while the potatoes are still hot.

Ingredients

  • 4-5 pounds red potatoes, unpeeled
  • 2 cups hellman's mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • dash black pepper
  • 4 teaspoons grey poupon country-style mustard
  • 4 sticks celery, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped

How To Make red potato salad

  • Step 1
    Boil potatoes for about 45 minutes. Don't worry if they fall apart a bit.
  • Step 2
    While potatoes are cooking, prepare dressing: mix together mayonnaise, vinegar, salt, pepper, mustard.
  • Step 3
    Drain potatoes. Cut them into pieces. Add chopped celery and onion.
  • Step 4
    Pour dressing over vegetables. Refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight.
