    russet potatoes
  • 1/2 c
  • 2
    green onions, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp
    pickle relish
  • 4 tsp
    pickle juice
  • 4 tsp
    hot-pepper sauce

How to Make Mashed-Potato Salad


  1. Peel potatoes and cut them into 1 inch chunks. Place the potatoes and enough water to cover in a pot. Bring to boil over high heat. Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until potatoes are fork tender. Drain.
  2. In a large bowl, coarsely mash the potatoes. Stir in the remaining ingredients, adding salt to taste. Serve at room temperature.
