tuna macaroni salad

My hubby is from Canada and Im from Texas...went to Canada this fall and my sister-in-law made this for us {hubby had been telling me about how good it was for years} I tried it and it is now one of my favorite macaroni salads!!!

Ingredients

  • 1 large pkg. elbow macaroni
  • 1 or 2 - celery stalks
  • 1/2 - green bell pepper
  • 1/2 - red bell pepper
  • 1 - onion
  • 2 or 3 - tomatos
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cans tuna (drained) i use tuna without oil.
  • 1 cup frozen green peas {the little round green ones}

How To Make tuna macaroni salad

  • Step 1
    Cook elbow macaroni as told on the package. Rinse cooked macaroni with cold water.
  • Step 2
    Chop up and mix all of the other ingredients...You can mix these ingredients as per your taste for them or add another favorite item if desired. I have used the tiny shrimps that come in the cans that are the size of the tuna cans.
  • Step 3
    After mixing it all up, chill in the fridge for a bit and the dive in...its so yummy!!!
