I like most Macaroni Salads but when I tasted this dish at my Daughter-in-laws, I knew I found a winner and now my favorite recipe.

  • 4 c
    elbow macaroni, cooked
  • 1 c
    miracle whip salad dressing
  • 1/4 c
    white vinegar
  • 2/3 c
    white sugar
  • 2 1/2 tsp
    yellow mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground black pepper
  • 1 large
    onion, chopped
  • 2 stalk(s)
    celery, chopped
  • 1
    green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    grated carrots
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped pimento

How to Make Terry's Macaroni Salad


  1. Mix dressing ingredients. Add cooked macaroni. Chill at least 4 hours.....better, overnight.
  2. Cooks note. Add or eliminate any of the salad ingredients, according to your taste. I use the ingredients listed here plus I have added Chopped green olives on occasion.
