This easy, creamy tuna recipe is a delight for a summer meal. Bits of celery and red onion make this a meal at any barbecue. The juicy tomato makes this salad the best!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shell pasta
  • 1-1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cans tuna, packed in water and partially drained
  • 1/2 medium red onion, minced
  • 3 stalks celery hearts
  • 1/2 bunch cherry tomatoes, cut in half

How To Make tasty tuna pasta salad

  • Step 1
    Cook pasta till al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    To a large plastic container or bowl, add in the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard and lemon juice. Whisk until combined.
  • Step 3
    Add in all cans of tuna, red onion, and celery to the bowl. Cut tomatoes and add to the bowl as well.
  • Step 4
    Add the pasta to the tuna mixture. Gently mix until combined. Refrigerate a couple of hours or overnight. Serve and enjoy.
