This is a fresh delicious light pasta salad. Beautiful and yummy.

  • 4 oz
    angel hair pasta
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 6 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 medium
    onion diced
  • 2 bag(s)
    mann's broccoli slaw
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    cracked black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    red pepper flakes
  • ·
    zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 c
    fresh basil ribbons
  • ·
    parmigiano-reggiano, grated
  • ·
    extra olive oil for drizzling

How to Make Summertime Fresh Pasta Salad


  1. cook the pasta, drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet add the 2 tbsp olive oil. Add the onion and garlic and saute 2 minutes. Add the two bags of broccoli slaw and salt. Cook until colors are bright and veggies are beginning to get tender. Add the red pepper flakes and the pasta. Cook until pasta is warmed through.
  3. Add the lemon juice and zest then add the cracked black pepper. Serve garnished with basil, drizzle of olive oil and Sprinkled with parm
