This makes such a pretty salad to take to covered dish suppers or on picnics... The real plus is that it tastes as good as it looks.

Ingredients

1 lb
pasta, cooked (i use mini farfalle because they are pretty)
1 1/2 c
apple cider vinegar
1 1/2 c
sugar
1/2
green bell pepper, diced fine
1/2
red bell pepper, diced fine
4
green onions, sliced fine
1 tsp
italian seasoning
1 1/2 c
mayonnaise

How to Make Southern Sweetness Pasta Salad

Step-by-Step

  • 1Cook pasta to al dente stage and drain well.
  • 2Mix vinegar and sugar together until sugar is dissolved.
  • 3Add pasta. red and green bell peppers, onion to the sugar/vinegar mixture, mix well, and refrigerate over night.
  • 4If there is a lot of liquid left in the morning, drain pasta again. Otherwise, just proceed to the next step.
  • 5Crush italian seasoning between your palms and sprinkle over pasta. Add mayonnaise, using more if desired.
  • 6Sprinkle with paprika, if desired. Chill and serve.
