southern sweetness pasta salad
This makes such a pretty salad to take to covered dish suppers or on picnics... The real plus is that it tastes as good as it looks.

Ingredients
- 1 pound pasta, cooked (i use mini farfalle because they are pretty)
- 1 1/2 cups apple cider vinegar
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 - green bell pepper, diced fine
- 1/2 - red bell pepper, diced fine
- 4 - green onions, sliced fine
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
How To Make southern sweetness pasta salad

Step 1Cook pasta to al dente stage and drain well.

Step 2Mix vinegar and sugar together until sugar is dissolved.

Step 3Add pasta. red and green bell peppers, onion to the sugar/vinegar mixture, mix well, and refrigerate over night.

Step 4If there is a lot of liquid left in the morning, drain pasta again. Otherwise, just proceed to the next step.

Step 5Crush italian seasoning between your palms and sprinkle over pasta. Add mayonnaise, using more if desired.

Step 6Sprinkle with paprika, if desired. Chill and serve.
