Developed fast out of necessity. It's pretty good, and family loves it.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces rotini (or another) pasta
  • 1 cup Hellman's or Best Foods mayonaise (all the other brands I've tasted ruin it)
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon beau monde seasoning
  • 3/4 cup frozen peas & carrots (optional)
  • 3/4 cup mild cheddar cheese (grated)
  • 1/4 cup little green onions, thinly sliced

How To Make pasta salad, fast and easy

  • Step 1
    Cook pasta in boiling water until you can cut a piece with a fork (al dente) don't overcook. Drain, and refrigerate.
  • Step 2
    Mix in your stand mixer, the cream cheese, mayonaise, beau monde, and sugar.
  • Step 3
    Stir together the mayo mixture and the pasta. Add frozen vegetables (uncooked), little green onions and cheese. Refrigerate until serving.
