I got this from a friend that worked at a daycare with me. I had to trade a few of my recipes to get this one. I do not stick tight to this recipe though. I find I like it with a little more vinegar and less sugar. Just adjust it to fit your taste.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    bow tie pasta
  • 1 c
    white vinegar
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1
    can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • 2 c
    mayo
  • 1 large
    green bell pepper, chopped fine
  • 1 medium
    onion, chopped fine
  • 2
    ribs of celery, chopped fine

How to Make Pasta Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook pasta, drain, and cool.
  2. In a large bowl, combine vinegar, milk, salt, pepper, mayo, and sugar. Mix in onion, bell pepper, and celery. Mix pasta in bowl.
  3. Cover and refrigerate over night. Stir before serving.
