I got this from a friend that worked at a daycare with me. I had to trade a few of my recipes to get this one. I do not stick tight to this recipe though. I find I like it with a little more vinegar and less sugar. Just adjust it to fit your taste.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound bow tie pasta
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 - can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups mayo
  • 1 large green bell pepper, chopped fine
  • 1 medium onion, chopped fine
  • 2 - ribs of celery, chopped fine

How To Make pasta salad

  • Step 1
    Cook pasta, drain, and cool.
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl, combine vinegar, milk, salt, pepper, mayo, and sugar. Mix in onion, bell pepper, and celery. Mix pasta in bowl.
  • Step 3
    Cover and refrigerate over night. Stir before serving.
