A nice summer salad that can be a meal in itself.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pasta of choice (bow tie, spiral etc)-cooked and drained
  • 4 - chicken breasts, boneless and skinless- boiled and drained
  • 1 can siced water chestnuts-drained
  • 1 can 20 oz pineapple tidbits-drained
  • 1 package craisins
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped cashews
  • 1 cup fresh red seedless grapes-cut in half
  • 1 bunch scallions-chopped
  • 1 bottle 16 oz marzetti's cole slaw dressing
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pinch celery salt (optional)
  • 1 pinch garlic powder (optional)

How To Make pasta chicken salad

  • Step 1
    Chop your chicken into bite size pieces. Mix all together and pour dressing on it right before time to serve to preserve the "crunch".
  • Step 2
    **Note** This recipe can be easily halved if not feeding an army!!
