Meloldy Southern

A very dear family friend made this salad for my bridal shower. I have had many people over the years that have eaten it get the recipe from me and make it. For years I was reluctant to share this because it is so special me. Miss Mary passed a few years ago and although I think of her often, when I make this I feel like she is smiling over my shoulder. I know that compared to most recipes on here that are complext this is a simple one but it is delicious and heartfelt. All who try please enjoy..Happy cooking
