macaroni & tuna salad

This is a recipe that I have concocted to contain ingredients from all of the women in my family's recipes, as well as a few ingredients of my own. I wanted to make the recipe my own so I took different ingredients that they all use and combined them to my taste. Please tweak this recipe to make it your own as I have. I estimated how much of each ingredient I use because I don't measure anything when I make it, I just make it! I hope you all enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound macaroni or penne pasta
  • 2 cans tuna in water
  • 3 - eggs, boiled
  • 2 cups miracle whip salad dressing
  • 1/4 cup thousand island dressing
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons sweet relish
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salad seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make macaroni & tuna salad

  • Step 1
    Boil pasta according to package directions; add eggs with pasta to boil; once pasta and eggs are done, drain and allow to cool; once pasta has cooled, open cans of tuna, peel and chop eggs and combine with all ingredients; toss until well coated; refrigerate and allow to chill for at least two hours before serving
