Nothing says SUMMER BBQ's & Picnics, like Summer Classic Salads. This is our Family Favorite

Ingredients

  • 5-6 - eggs boiled & cooled
  • 1 package elbow macaroni (16 oz)
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 3 stalks fresh green celery, or (celery salt is optional )
  • 1- 1 1/2 cups mayonaise
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt & pepper
  • 5 tablespoons pickle juice
  • 1 jar sweet pickle relishsmall (8oz)

How To Make macaroni salad family favorite by freda

  • Step 1
    Use SWEET RELISH or DILL RELISH for Dill flavors Your Preference, or Make BOTH. ENJOY.
  • Step 2
    Hard Boil eggs 1 minute. Remove pan from the Heat Let set, 10 min, DO NOT REMOVE LID. NOW, COOL in COLD water. Peel and Dice EGGS, Set aside
  • Step 3
    Bring to Boil medium pot of Water, Add salt ( 2 TBS) Cook Macaroni according to PKG Directions. Pour into Colander, Drain, & run COLD water over Macaroni to COOL the Macaroni down.
  • Step 4
    Dice Eggs, Onions & Celery into Small pieces in Medium Bowl, add pickle Relish, Mayo, salt and pepper. Toss this into the COLD Macaroni. Stir Well. Cover and Chill at least 1 hr or Over Night. If this gets to dry, add more Pickle Juice and a bit more Mayo, toss well and Serve.
