macaroni salad
Many years ago, someone in the family collected recipes from descendants of my great grandparents, William M. and Florence E. (Snodgrass) Whaley and had them compiled into a cookbook. I am posting those recipes here so that they will not be lost. This recipe was submitted by Donna Swindle.

Ingredients
- 2 cups macaroni, boiled and drained
- 3/4 cup italian dressing
- 1 - onion
- - green pepper
- - celery
- - carrots
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 small tomatoes
- DRESSING
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
How To Make macaroni salad

Step 1Mix cooked and drained macaroni and Italian dressing. Refrigerate for 3 hours. Drain Italian dressing off of the macaroni.

Step 2Chop onion, tomatoes, green pepper, celery and carrots. Add chopped vegetables to drained macaroni.

Step 3Mix mayonnaise and sour cream together. Add to macaroni and vegetables and mix well. Sprinkle with paprika, if desired.
