My grandma has made this previously I really enjoyed it. This is her recipe for Shrimp salad perfect for a potluck. I have personally never made it before though. Some of the amounts like for the Pickles, celery and olives were NOT listed on recipe so I kinda guesstimated about how much I thought was in the recipe.

Ingredients

  • 7 oz
    angel hair pasta (boil 5 min)
  • 1/8
    chopped small dill pickles (optional)
  • 1 small
    onion
  • 1/8-1/4
    celery, chopped (your desired amount)
  • 1/8
    sliced olives
  • 1 lb
    salad shrimp
  • 1 c
    mayo
  • 1/4 c
    vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar

How to Make Darlene's Shrimp Salad (my grandma's)

Step-by-Step

  1. Some of the amounts like for the Pickles, celery and olives were NOT listed on recipe so I kinda guesstimated about how much I thought was in the recipe. (you can kinda eyeball recipe and add the desired amounts you would like if you think its too much..)
  2. Mix Mayo, Vinegar and sugar together. Add to the rest of Ingredients and stir well.. chill till ready to serve.
