Ingredients
- 1 pound box small pasta shells ( cooked and drained)
- 5 - hard boiled eggs chopped ( keeping 1 in reserve)
- 4-5 - green onions diced up 3/4ths stem ( or 1 small onion)
- 1/3 cup diced celery
- 1/4 cup diced pimentos
- 2/3 cup cheddar cheese pieces (more or less)
- 2/3 cup frozen peas ( rinsed and drained)
- 1 cup miracle whip salad dressing (approx)
- 1 tablespoon (heaping tbs) sour cream
- 1/3 cup milk (approx)
- - salt/pepper to taste
- - garnish: with celery leaves or parsley leaves
- - top with sprinkled paprika
How To Make cheddar macaroni salad w/peas

Step 1In large bowl , add drained macaroni, eggs, onion, celery, pimentos, cheese pieces and drained peas In seperate small bowl mix well salad dressing, sour cream and milk ..including salt and pepper.

Step 2Pour dressing mixture over macaroni and other ingredients and mix well. Cover bowl and Refrigerate for 4-6 hours .. stir before garnish and serving garnish: egg slices and celery or parsley leaves and few dashes of paprika. Suggestion: for plain macaroni salad leave out peas and cheese ( cook a 1/2 cup of extra shells to make up the difference)

Step 3NOTE: This salad can be made with mayonnaise instead of salad dressing .. adding 1/2 teaspoon of yellow mustard to 1 cup Mayo along with sour cream and milk.
