Ingredients
- 8 ounces elbow macaroni (about 1-3/4 cups)
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon dijonnaise, creamy dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 cup thinly sliced celery
- 1 cup chopped green or red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
How To Make classic macaroni salad

Step 1Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain and rinse with cold water until completely cool.

Step 2In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, sugar, salt and pepper. Stir in macaroni, celery, bell pepper and onion. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
