Aunt Charlene gave me her recipe 43 years ago. I've had to change it a little since then because one of the ingredients is no longer made. I've made a couple of other tiny tweaks, too.

Ingredients For aunt charlene's pasta salad

  • 1 lb
    your favorite pasta
  • 1
    bell pepper, any color
  • 3 - 5 stalk
    green onions
  • 3 - 4 stalk
    celery
  • 1 c
    Parmigiano-Reggiano, grated
  • 1 c
    Romano cheese, grated
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    Italian seasoning
  • 1-2 c
    creamy Italian salad dressing

How To Make aunt charlene's pasta salad

    Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente.
  • 2
    Drain, put in a large bowl, and set aside.
  • 3
    Chop vegetables, grate cheeses, and add to pasta.
  • 4
    Stir in remaining ingredients and refrigerate until well chilled.
