I found this recipe on Pinterest, had all the ingredients, and made it today. It's a very interesting combination of ingredients. My family loved it. recipe courtesy of www.afamilyfeast.com Photos are mine

Ingredients

  • 3 - eggs, room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1 cup creme fraiche (i used sour cream)
  • 2 tablespoons softened cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons champagne vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon capers, drained
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 1/4 cup minced celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped scallions
  • 1/2 cup drained and chopped, roasted red peppers
  • 4 tablespoons sweet pepper relish (not the green relish you put on hot dogss)
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1 pound favorite pasta, uncooked

How To Make a yummy macaroni salad

  • Step 1
    Hard boil 3 eggs; peel, chop, and set aside.
  • mix mayonnaise, Creme Fraiche, (I used sour cream) and cream cheese.
    Step 2
    In a medium bowl, mix mayonnaise, sour cream (or creme fraiche), and cream cheese, until smooth.

    Add all other ingredients, except pasta.

    Step 4
    Fold in chopped eggs and refrigerate.
  • Step 5
    Cook pasta according to pkge. directions. Drain thoroughly, but do not rinse or cool.
  • Step 6
    In a large bowl, place drained hot pasta. Add mayonnaise mixture to hot pasta and stir to combine.

    Step 7
    Spread pasta salad onto a cookie sheet and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 2 hours. When pasta salad is cooled, spoon into a serving bowl, and serve.
