vinegar slaw
I am not sure where I found this recipe but I finally gave it a try and really enjoyed it. It makes a nice sweet tangy side for just about any meal. I had it with some tempura shrimp last night. I think it would also be awesome with ribs or pulled pork.

Ingredients
- 1 medium cabbage cored and thinly sliced
- 1 medium english cucumber sliced into thin rounds
- 2 teaspoons dill weed or use 2 tablespoons fresh
- 1/2 cup white wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 4 teaspoons sugar
- 1/2 cup water
How To Make vinegar slaw

Step 1Toss cabbage, cucumber, and dill in a large bowl

Step 2Whisk vinegar, salt and sugar in a small bowl until the salt and sugar dissolve. Add 1/2 cup water.

Step 3Pour the vinegar mix over the cabbage and let sit for 1 to 2 hours to wilt. It gets better as it sits.

Step 4Store in refrigerator for up to 1 week.
