My family loves this recipe even the great grandkids so that says something.It's a make the day before recipe which is always good.

Ingredients

  • 15 ounces french style green beans,drained
  • 15 ounces small petite peas,drained
  • 11 ounces white shoepeg corn,drained
  • 4 ounces pimientos,drained
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 1 - green bell peppers,chopped
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup oil

How To Make vegetable salad marinade

  • Step 1
    Mix the first 7 ingredients together
  • Step 2
    Then in a saucepan cook the sugar,salt,vinegar,bringing to a boil.Remove from heat and add the oil.
  • Step 3
    Pour over the veggies and keep in the refrigerator overnight.I give it a stir a couple of times during the day before serving.ENJOY
