Another recipe from my years stationed in Germany - this is a quick way to use your fresh summer tomatoes or those wonderful cherub cherry tomatoes.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons "brown and spicy" mustard
  • 2 tablespoons cider or red wine vinegar
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 medium tomatoes, halved and sliced (or use halved cherry tomatoes)

How To Make tomatensalat - tomato salad

  • Step 1
    In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, mustard, vinegar, salt and pepper.
  • Step 2
    Add tomatoes; stir to mix. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes.
