This is a salad that my sister-in-law, Judy, made for me when I was pregnant with Travis and on a "strict" diet. That is until she looked in the back of my car and saw all the McDonald's wrappers. LOL.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 1/3 c
    canola oil
  • 1/2 c
    cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 can(s)
    green beans, drained
  • 1/4 c
    bell pepper, chopped fine
  • 1 can(s)
    yellow wax beans, drained
  • 1 can(s)
    red kidney beans, drained

How to Make Three Bean Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Drain and rinse all beans. Drain again.
  2. Add peppers and onions.
  3. Mix other ingredients and add to beans. Combine well and refrigerate overnight. Serve chilled.
