texas caviar,my version
This is a simple delicious dish I've been making for many years.I don't remember where the recipe came from. I serve it with tortillas chips as a dip or as a salad. I thought I would share it here.

- - 1/2 onion, minced
- - 2 med. tomatoes,minced 7 drained
- - 1/2 c cilantro, minced
- - 1 green bell pepper, minced
- - 4 green onions, minced
- - 2 cans (14 oz) black eye peas, drained
- - 8 oz kraft zesty italian dressing
- - 1 jalapeno, minced

Step 1Add all ingredients in a large bowl, mix well.Chill several hours or overnight.
