This is a Swedish-style crab salad that is a little different and very tasty. Enjoy! Recipe from my Three Rivers cookbook.

Ingredients
- 7 1/2 ounces can of good quality lump crabmeat
- 10 ounces package of frozen peas
- 4 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced lengthwise
- 5 ounces can of asparagus tips, drained and cut into pieces
- - lettuce leafs (enough to line a serving bowl - romaine works well)
- DRESSING:
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise (helmans)
- 3 tablespoons chili sauce
- - fresh dill sprigs
How To Make swedish crab salad (krabbsallad)

Step 1Very quickly, rinse the crab meat in cold water and drain. Let the peas thaw while the crab is draining.

Step 2Combine the crab meat, thawed peas, mushrooms, and asparagus in a salad bowl.lined with lettuce leafs.

Step 3Whip the cream and mix in the mayo and chili sauce. Pour this dressing over the crab mixture and carefully toss the salad with two forks. Garnish with the dill sprigs. Enjoy!
