Ingredients
- 1 box jiffy cornbread mix
- 2 cups kraft ranch dressing
- 1 - green pepper, chopped (or 1/2 red and 1/2 green is also good)
- 1 medium red onion, chopped (must be red)
- 1 can whole kernel corn
- 1 can red kidney or pinto beans
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 pound bacon, fried crisp
How To Make super easy cornbread salad

Step 1Prepare cornbread, bake and set aside to cool. Once cool, crumble into dish.

Step 2Drain and mix together corn and beans. Put this over cornbread.

Step 3Chop and mix together onion, tomato and pepper. Put this over beans/corn.

Step 4Cover with the cheese.

Step 5Pour Ranch dressing over this. Crumble crisp bacon over this. Cover and refrigerate overnight. It won't taste right until it sits overnight!

Step 6You can also use Mexican cornbread and chili style beans for this recipe, if you want a spicier version. You can even throw in a bit of chopped Jalapeno!
