summer tomato & basil salad
What's better that fresh summer tomatoes and herbs? Not much! I can easily eat a whole tomato myself; it's easy to increase everything for more servings. I like to add the vinegar and oil right after I slice the tomato so it can absorb their flavor!

Ingredients
- 1 medium tomato, cored and sliced
- 2 - fresh basil leaves
- 1 green onion (spring onion)
- 1 tablespoon seasoned vinegar (i use salata brand)
- 1/2 teaspoon olive oil (i used lemon infused, plain is ok, too)
- salt and pepper, to taste
How To Make summer tomato & basil salad

Step 1Arrange tomato slices on a plate. Add vinegar and olive oil.

Step 2Slice spring onion thinly and sprinkle over tomatoes.

Step 3Slice the basil thinly (chiffonade) and distribute that over the tomato.

Step 4Add salt and pepper to taste.
