sugar cole slaw

I found this recipe in Gramma Bea's recipe box. It was cut out of a newspaper and glued to a recipe card. This says it came from a Mrs. Henry Baer of Cleveland. It just happens to be a very nice homemade cole slaw.

Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup salad oil
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- - dill weed (optional)
- - shredded cabbage
How To Make sugar cole slaw

Step 1Mix sugr and water. Bring to a boil until thic. Remove from het and add vinegar, oil and spices. Keep in a jar in the refrigerator. Use over shredded cabbage any time. Keeps well.
