Ingredients

16 ounces bag coleslaw mix
1 small onion-chopped fine
2/3 cup miracle whip dressing
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon vinegar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 -1/2 teaspoon celery seed

How To Make southern sweet coleslaw

Step 1

*I run the coleslaw mix through my food processor to make it more fine*

Step 2

Combine coleslaw mix and onion in a large bowl.
Step 3

Whisk together miracle whip, vegetable oil, sugar, vinegar, salt and celery seed in a medium size bowl.
Step 4

Pour dressing mix over coleslaw and toss to coat. Chill until ready to serve {this taste best if chilled an hour or longer}
