Great way to use cornbread when you have made too much!

Ingredients

  • 1 package cornbread mix, baked, cooled and cubed
  • 1 (14 oz) can red kidney beans, drained
  • 1 (15 oz) can niblet corn, drained
  • 1 - medium sweet onion, chopped
  • 1 - green bell pepper, chopped
  • 3 - large tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 (8 oz) bottle ranch dressing

How To Make southern cornbread salad

  • Step 1
    In the bottom of a large glass bowl, place cornbread cubes. Layer beans, corn, onion, bell pepper and tomatoes on top of cornbread.
  • Step 2
    Spread top of layers with Ranch dressing and sprinkle with the cheese.
  • Step 3
    Refrigerate 2 hrs or more...or overnight.
