Ingredients
- 1 large head of cabbage
- 1 large onion
- 1 cup sugar
- DRESSING
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 cup cider vinegar
- 3/4 cup canola oil
How To Make slaw

Step 1Shread cabbage and onion and layer in a large bowl.

Step 2Sprinkle sugar over all and set aside.

Step 3Heat vinegar, salt, celery seed, mustard to a boil.

Step 4Add the oil and boil GENTLY for 5 minutes.

Step 5Pour over the cabbage mixture WITHOUT STIRRING while HOT. Cover and refridgerate several hours or overnight. Stir just before serving.

Step 6Will keep in fridge for up to 3 weeks. Yes, 3 weeks. For real, NO April's fool.
