How to Make Slaw
- Shread cabbage and onion and layer in a large bowl.
- Sprinkle sugar over all and set aside.
- Heat vinegar, salt, celery seed, mustard to a boil.
- Add the oil and boil GENTLY for 5 minutes.
- Pour over the cabbage mixture WITHOUT STIRRING while HOT. Cover and refridgerate several hours or overnight. Stir just before serving.
- Will keep in fridge for up to 3 weeks. Yes, 3 weeks. For real, NO April's fool.
