1Shread cabbage and onion and layer in a large bowl.
2Sprinkle sugar over all and set aside.
3Heat vinegar, salt, celery seed, mustard to a boil.
4Add the oil and boil GENTLY for 5 minutes.
5Pour over the cabbage mixture WITHOUT STIRRING while HOT. Cover and refridgerate several hours or overnight. Stir just before serving.
6Will keep in fridge for up to 3 weeks. Yes, 3 weeks. For real, NO April's fool.
