If you like shrimp, you will love this salad...I'm the only shrimp eater in my family, so I get to have it all to!!IMO it gets better the longer it sets.

My favorite way to eat this is over fresh spinach...yum!

  • 1 1/2 lb
    cooked shrimp - cut into bite size pieces
  • Greens
    for serving over
  • 1/2 c
    celery, chopped fine
  • 1/4 - 1/2 c
    sweet onion, chopped fine
  • 1/2 c
    peapods, chopped ( optional ) i use fresh tender pods when i have from my garden
  • 1 - 2
    green onions, sliced
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    fresh lemon juice
  • 1 /2 tsp
    old bay seasoning, or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper, fresh cracked
  • ·
    salt to taste

How to Make Shrimp Salad


  1. Combine the shrimp, celery, onion, and pea pods in a serving bowl and set aside.

    In a small bowl combine the mayo, lemon juice, and seasonings. Stir until well blended.

    Add the mayo mixture to the other ingredients and stir until evenly coated.

    Cover and refrigerate for about 1 hour before serving.

    Serve over salad greens.
