shrimp pasta salad
(2 RATINGS)
I got the original recipe from my friend Di and modified it to feed my daughter and I dinner and lunch for a couple of days. When I remarried, it only fed the 5 of us one meal. The boys always went back for 2nds.

How To Make shrimp pasta salad
-
Step 1Bring a large pot of water, seasoned with Old Bay Seasoning if desired, to a boil and cook noodles as instructed on bag.
-
Step 2You can have the shrimp steamed at your fish monger or do it yourself at home with the Old Bay Seasoning. If you're doing it yourself, liberally coat the peeled, deveined shrimp with Old Bay Seasoning and steam them until they are pink and just firm. Try not to over cook them.
-
Step 3While the noodles are boiling and the Shrimp is steaming, dice and mince the veggies. Place in a large bowl.
-
Step 4Once Shrimp are steamed, allow then to cool and if you are using the large size, cut into 1/4 inch pieces. If you are using mini or salad shrimp, just cool and place into the bowl with the veggies. Put into a large bowl with diced veggies.
-
Step 5When the noodles are done, drain them and rinse with cool water until you can handle with your bare hands.
-
Step 6Put the noodles in with the shrimp/veggie mix and toss together.
-
Step 7Mix the Miracle Whip with Old Bay Seasoning to taste and toss with Pasta mixture. Use more Miracle Whip if desired.
-
Step 8Serve well chilled.
