frozen lima beans (10oz)
1 pkg
frozen peas and carrots
2 can(s)
sliced beets, drained, diced into cubes
8 oz
sour cream
1 large
sweet onion, diced
cucumber, seeded, diced
minced parsley
sliced green onion
garlic powder, salt, pepper to taste

How to Make Russian Winter Salad


  • 1Saute onion in butter until transparent; remove from pan.
    Add peas, carrots, limas to remaining butter and cook until thawed and just softened.
  • 2Return onion to pan to mix, then place in bowl.
    Add beets and sour cream.
    Toss with parsley, green onion, cukes, and seasonings to taste.
  • 3Serve at room temperature.
