Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen lima beans (10oz)
  • 1 package frozen peas and carrots
  • 2 cans sliced beets, drained, diced into cubes
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 1 large sweet onion, diced
  • 1 - cucumber, seeded, diced
  • - minced parsley
  • - sliced green onion
  • - garlic powder, salt, pepper to taste

How To Make russian winter salad

  • Step 1
    Saute onion in butter until transparent; remove from pan. Add peas, carrots, limas to remaining butter and cook until thawed and just softened.
  • Step 2
    Return onion to pan to mix, then place in bowl. Add beets and sour cream. Toss with parsley, green onion, cukes, and seasonings to taste.
  • Step 3
    Serve at room temperature.
