I have had this when the church has a pot luck dinner. It is one of my favorites.

  • 2 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 3 Tbsp
    white wine vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 pkg
    chicken flavored ramen noodles, seasoning packet reserved
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    sesame seeds
  • 1/4 c
    sliced almonds
  • 1/2 medium
    head of cabbage
  • 5
    green onions, chopped

How to Make Ramen Coleslaw


  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Crush ramen noodles.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the oil, vinegar, sugar, ramen noodle spice mix, salt and pepper to make dressing.
  4. Place sesame seeds and almonds in a single layer on a medium baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes.
  5. In a large salad bowl, combine cabbage, green onions, and noodles. Pour dressing over salad and toss to coat evenly. Top with toasted sesame seeds and almonds.
