This is a delightful salad that my family members have enjoyed for years. It may come as a surprise that you are adding cooked popcorn to this one, but wait, try it and then tell me how you like it.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped fine
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (divided)
- 1 can water chesnuts, finely diced
- 8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled (divided)
- 1/4 cup carrots, shredded or cut julienne
- 8-12 - black olives
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 tablespoons minced chives
- 4 cups popped popcorn
- - lettuce leaves
How To Make popcorn salad

Step 1In a large bowl, combine celery, water chestnuts,1/2 cup bacon, carrots, and chives with mayonnaise. Mix well.
