This is a great dish to bring when you go to a potluck lunch, not the usual side dish. Easy, inexpensive and tastes good.

  • 1/4 c
  • 1/4 c
    sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh chopped parsley
  • ·
    salt & pepper to taste
  • 20 oz
    frozen peas
  • 8 slice
    cooked bacon - crumbled; or 1/4 cup bacon bits
  • 1/2 c
    green onions, finely chopped

How to Make Pea and Bacon Salad


  1. Run frozen peas under warm water until defrosted. Drain well.
  2. Combine peas, bacon and conions and chill while making dressing.
  3. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sour cream and parsley until well blended.
  4. Toss dressing lightly with pea and bacon mixtue. Salt and pepper to taste.
