If you are a shrimp lover then add one package of your favorite size cooked, peeled, and deveined shrimp to this salad. The addition of the shrimp will make this salad a meal in itself!

  • 2 pkg
    ramen noodles (beef flavored 3-oz)
  • 1 pkg
    cole slaw mix (16 oz)
  • 1 c
    raw sunflower seeds
  • 1 bunch
    green onions, chopped
  • 3 small
    individual cups mandarin oranges, drained, reserve juice of 1 cup
  • 1 can(s)
    black beans, drained, rinsed well
  • 1 oz
    sliced almonds

  • 1/2 c
    extra light virgin olive oil
  • 1/3 c
  • 2
    beef flavor packets from ramen noodle packet
  • 1
    juice from reserved mandarin orange cup above
  • 1 tsp
    balsamic vinegar

How to Make Oriental Slaw Salad


  1. Break the Ramen Noodles into bite size pieces. Mix all of the ingredients together. Stir well. Chill while making the dressing. In a separate bowl mix the dressing ingredients together. Pour over the salad and stir well. Serve chilled.
