Ingredients

  • 1 pound package slaw mix
  • 8 - green onions (chop green part also)
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 8 tablespoons slivered almonds
  • 6 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 packages ramen noodles (uncooked; discard seasoning packs)

How To Make oriental salad

  • Step 1
    Brown nuts and seeds in a little oil. Cool. Combine slaw and onions. Combine dressing. Break up noodles and put on top. (Do not open package; break up noodles by pounding with a mallet or heavy knife handle, etc.) Pour on dressing. Adds seeds and nuts. Let set in refrigerator 1 to 2 hours. Toss before serving.
