Got this from my cousin at a recent family reunion. It was a big hit at the reunion. I have made it several times for my family.

Ingredients

  • ·
    dressing- make ahead
  • 1 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c
    sugar or splenda
  • 1/3 c
    white vinegar
  • 2 pkg
    oriental flavored ramen noodles seasoning packet
  • ·
    salad
  • 1 lb
    coleslaw mix
  • 1 pkg
    broccoli slaw mix
  • 2 pkg
    ramen noodles crushed
  • 1 c
    roasted sunflower seeds
  • 1 c
    toasted sliced almonds (toast in oven at 350)
  • 1 bunch
    chopped green onions

How to Make Oriental Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. For dressing: mix all ingredients together and set aside.
  2. For salad: Mix all ingredients together. Keep the ingredients separated until just before serving so the crispy stuff doesn't get soggy.
