A co-worker brought this slaw to a pot luck at work. After one taste I had to have the recipe. My husband and I have been hooked ever since.

1 3 oz. pkg
ramen noodles, beef flavor
1 pkg
broccoli slaw
1/2 c
toasted almonds, slivered
1/2 c
sunflower seeds
1/2 bunch
green onions, chopped
1/2 c
3/4 c
canola oil
1/3 c
white vinegar

How to Make Oriental Ramen Broccoli Slaw


  • 1Before opening noodles, crush into 1 inch pieces. Open package and set flavor packet aside.
  • 2To toast almond slivers; place slivers in a dry non-stick skillet. Over medium heat shake or stir slivers till a golden color starts to appear. Be careful they will burn very easily. Once desired toast color is achieved remove from heat and allow to cool.
  • 3Place noodles in bottom of large serving bowl. Top noodles with broccoli slaw, then sprinkle with almonds and sunflower seeds and green onions.
  • 4In a separate bowl combine sugar, oil vinegar and flavor packet from noodles. Pour over slaw; do not mix, cover and chill up to 24 hours.
  • 5Toss to mix before serving.
