When visiting my grandmother who lived near the North Sea in Germany, I remember having lots of "Krabben" - small local shrimp in a variety of dishes. Here's an example of a local shrimp salad.

Ingredients

  • 10 ounces small shrimp, cooked, peeled, deveined
  • 1 small red onion, minced
  • 6-8 - radishes, finely chopped
  • 1/4 - english cucumber, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons freshly chopped dill (or 1 tb dried)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 large lemon, juice of
  • - sea salt and pepper, to taste
  • - lemon wedges, to serve

How To Make north sea shrimp salad (büsumer krabbensalat)

  • Step 1
    In a medium bowl, toss together the shrimp, onion, radishes, cucumber and dill.
  • Step 2
    Then add the olive oil and lemon juice, season with salt and pepper, and toss again.
