my fresh corn salad
I love making this salad with fresh corn. Easy and very good. This is how I made it for Labor Day 2024.

Ingredients
- 3 ears yellow corn, schucked and cleaned
- 3 ears bi-color corn, shucked and cleaned
- 1 small purple onion, diced
- Accent, to taste
- dill weed, to taste
- Miracle Whip, to taste
How To Make my fresh corn salad

Step 1Boil the corn and let cool. Cut corn from cobs and put into a bowl big enough to be able to mix everything in; let cool to room temperature.

Step 2Add purple onion and stir to break up the corn slices.

Step 3Add accent and dill weed to your taste, mix again. You can always add more before serving, if desired. Mix in Miracle Whip to texture. You can also add more before serving, if desired.

Step 4Put tin foil directly on top of the corn salad and up the side of the bowl, then refrigerate. Best if done the night before to let flavors combine.

Step 5Before serving, mix again and adjust flavors as desired.
