a co-worker made this recipe for a holiday gathering and it was wonderful. Something different. It is classified as a salad, but we eat it for dessert as well.

Ingredients

3 cups cranberries, fresh
1 1/2 cups sugar
8 ounces crushed pineapple, drained very well
1/2 cup nuts, chopped
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup heavy whipping cream

How To Make merry christmas freeze

Step 1

Crush or grind cranberries. Add sugar and blend well. Add pineapple, nuts and cream cheese. Mix well.

Step 2

Whip heavy whipping cream until light and fluffy. Fold cranberry mixture in and pour into a bowl that is able to be put in freezer. Freeze.
Step 3

When ready to serve, take out of freezer approximately 30 minutes before serving.
