Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 3/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 16 ounces can drained white corn
  • 16 ounces can drained french style green beans
  • 16 ounces can drained sweet peas
  • 1 large chopped bell pepper
  • 3-4 - chopped celery ribs
  • 1 small chopped onion

How To Make marinated vegetable salad

  • Step 1
    Bring the salt, pepper, vinegar, oil, water and sugar to a boil.
  • Step 2
    Boil for 2 minutes and set aside to cool.
  • Step 3
    Combine the remaining ingredients and toss with the cooled vinegar dressing.
  • Step 4
    Chill the salad until ready to serve.
  • Step 5
    This salad is perfect if made the day before.
