Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 3/4 cups cidar vinegar
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 small head of cauliflower, broken into florets
- 3 medium carrots, grated
- 2 - celery ribs, thinly sliced
- 1 - green pepper, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 can (15 1/4oz.) white shoepeg corn, drained
- 1 can (14 1/2oz.) french cut green beans, drained
- 1 can (14oz.) bean sprouts, drained
- 1 can (4 1/2oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 can (8oz.) water chestnuts, drained and halved

Step 1in sauce pan, combine sugar, vinegar, oil, and salt. bring to a boil. remove from heat; cool to room temperture.

Step 2in a large bowl combine the remaining ingredients. add dressing; toss to coat. cover and chill for at least 2 hours. serve with a slotted spoon.
